Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will rival Renault Kwid

Reportedly maruti Suzuki india is preparing to introduce a brand new vehicle in the market by the end of September 2019. Rumors are that the country's largest carmaker will call the vehicle S-Presso. However, there is no official word from the company on the name yet. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso will reportedly have as many as four variants.


Powering maruti Suzuki S-Presso will be a BS6-compliant, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, K10B engine. This engine is currently available with Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 but in a BS4 iteration. In Alto K10, the power train delivers 68 hp and 90 Nm of torque and is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional AGS (auto gear shift).



According to a report, maruti Suzuki S-Presso will have an automatic transmission option. Out of the four variants, the automatic transmission will be available in the higher-trims. Other than this, the width and height are 1,520 mm and 1,564 mm, respectively. The wheelbase will be 2,380 mm long. The upcoming car will have a 180 mm ground clearance. The fuel tank will have 27-litre capacity.
