Celebs express sorrow over Mayilsamy's demise...


Kollywood has had a difficult few weeks as notable cinema figures have died one after the other, with actor Mayilsamy being the most recent.

Mayilsamy, a well-known comic actor in tamil films, died today at the age of 57 owing to health issues. In many tamil movies, Mayilsamy has played comedic and character parts. He was also a well-known stand-up comedian, tv host, stage performer, and theatre artist. He made his playing debut in the tamil film industry with the famous filmmaker-actor K Bhagyaraj's film Dhavani Kanavugal, which was released in 1984. He made his debut on tamil television as the host and judge of a well-liked comedy show.

Mayilsamy has been enthralling tamil films with his voice modulation since he was given the gift of gab. When he portrayed a drunk, his modulations were especially amusing.

Numerous actors and actresses from the film industry, including Kamal Haasan, Sarathkumar, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Resul Pookutty, Vikram, Manobala, Anandraj, Pandiarajan, delhi Ganesh, Vaiyapuri, yogi Babu, MS Bhaskar, R Parthiban, Ramesh Khanna, Manobala, and Shobi Paulraj, have expressed their condolences for Mayilsamy's demise.

Mayilsamy's body has been transported from Porur private hospital to his Saligramam residence in Chennai. According to other sources, the actor's second son Yuvan Mayilsamy informed that his father's funeral will be held in chennai tomorrow morning.
