Now we are going to look at the success story of Irfan Razak, Chairman and Managing director of Prestige Estates Projects, one of India's richest people.
Razzaq was born into a merchant family. His father, Razzaq Sattar, started Prestige Group in 1950 with a small cloth and tailoring shop in Bangalore.


Under Razak's leadership, Prestige Estates Projects has become an indispensable important company in the indian real estate industry.  The company has so far completed 285 projects and is currently working on 54  projects, including a host of projects across apartment, commercial, retail, and hotel segments.
Meanwhile, in another major milestone, the net worth of Irfan Razzaq and his family has crossed USD 1 billion due to a  60% jump in shares of Prestige Estates projects. Prestige Estates stands majestically as India's largest listed property company after DLF. Prestige's clients include global brands such as Apple, Caterpillar, Armani, and Louis Vuitton.
 Though he wanted to retire after selling his second real estate project in Bengaluru in 1990, Razak's entrepreneurial zeal led to Prestige Estate becoming one of the biggest real estate giants.
Currently, Prestige Estates Projects has expanded beyond Bangalore to cities like Chennai, Kochi, Calicut, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The company, which is targeted at the middle-class segment, is busy increasing its annual sales.


Razak's younger brothers, Rezwan and Noman, are also contributing to the company's enormous success. Interestingly, their clothing and tailoring shop is still working with Prestige Estates Projects' real estate projects.


Now in 2024, Irfan Razak's net worth is $ 1.3 billion or Rs 108,678,802,700 in indian value. This has established him as one of India's most influential and successful entrepreneurs. In their company clocked sales of Rs 12,930 crore. His name is also on the forbes 'World Billionaires’ list for 2024.
