Highways officials who inspected the bridge built by Kamaraj after 62 years are shocked. Following this the pillars across the river went to the bar and tested the determination. The Highways Department said the condition of the bridge was still stable. Highways Department officials said the results of the study would be submitted to the government and necessary repairs would be made to strengthen the bridge. Investigations will continue tomorrow, officials said.
