85-year-old M. Kamalathal, popularly known as 'Idli Amma', hails from Coimbatore, tamil Nadu. She sells idlis for just one rupee to the migrant laborers and the needy working in her area. anand mahindra had made a tweet about 'Idli Amma' in the year 2019. At that time he talked about supporting Idli Amma and giving her a gas stove instead of a wood stove. After this, when Mahindra's team came to help Idli Amma, they expressed their desire for a new house. After which anand mahindra, respecting the wish of that elder, promised to give him a new house.

Now on the occasion of Mother's Day in 2022, anand mahindra has gifted her a new house, fulfilling the promise made to Idli Amma. In which there is also a special kitchen for them.
