Powdered sugar – ¼ cup (adjust to taste)·

Ghee or oil – 2 tsp for dough + for deep frying·
Milk or water – as needed to knead the dough
For Garnishing (Optional)· Chopped almonds· Rose petals or saffron strands
Instructions1. Prepare the Dough1. Mix
maida, almond paste, sugar, cardamom powder, and ghee in a bowl.2. Add
milk or water little by little to form a smooth, soft dough.3. Cover and let it rest for
15–20 minutes.
2. Shape the Puris1. Divide the dough into
small balls.2. Roll each ball gently into a
small, thick disc (like a mini puri).
3. Fry the Badam Puris1. Heat
ghee or oil in a deep pan on medium heat.2. Fry the puris until
golden brown, turning carefully to cook evenly.3. Remove and drain on paper towels.
4. Serve· Let them cool slightly and
garnish with chopped almonds or saffron if desired.· Serve
warm or at room temperature. They pair wonderfully with tea or as a sweet snack.💡
Tips for Perfect Badam Puri· Don’t roll the puris too thin; they should remain soft inside.· Almond paste adds richness, but you can also mix
cashew paste for variation.· Fry on
medium heat, as high heat can burn the puris quickly.
