Officials worked hard for three hours in warangal district and caught a crocodile and released it in Pakal Lake, 50 km from the city. A crocodile was spotted in the flood waters of a flat at Padmakshigutta in Hanmakonda on Friday. Heavy rains have been lashing some parts of telangana for the past two days. Due to this, streams and bends are flowing. Low-lying areas are flooded and settlements are submerged. But along with the flood water come poisonous snakes and scorpions. Along with these, people are expressing fear as huge crocodiles are also coming into the houses. Recently, the officials in warangal district worked hard for three hours and caught a crocodile and left it in the Pakal lake, 50 km away from the city.
A crocodile was spotted in the flood waters of a flat at Padmakshigutta in Hanmakonda on Friday. The locals panicked and informed the forest department and veterinary experts. After working for about three hours, the team rescued the crocodile and released it in Pakal Lake. But the details about where the crocodile came from are to be known. Residents of a colony near Kakatiya Zoo Park had earlier spotted a crocodile in a pond at Padmakashigutta, sources said. However, no matter how many times the staff tried to locate the crocodile, its location was not found. In this order, the locals breathed a sigh of relief as the forest personnel rescued the crocodile on friday afternoon.
