A spoof account of Elon Musk on twitter is garnering a lot of attention amid the probable legal spat between the two technological behemoths. It's interesting to note that Elon Musk himself has responded to the account.


Elon Musk's parody account on twitter has 340.2k followers and goes by the name [Elon Musk (Parody)]. my account recently tweeted, "I spent $44 billion for this app and now Lizard boy just decided to hit copy and paste," in reference to the Threads app. Now it's personal. Zuck, I'll see you in the cage.

If the specific tweet was posted by Elon Musk, it would have received more than 54.7k retweets and 26.1 million views. In fact, upon responding to the tweet, twitter founder Musk wrote, "So many people think this account is me."

Recall that the initial move in what may turn out to be a bitter legal battle between the two social media behemoths was Twitter's filing of a prospective lawsuit against Meta Platforms, alleging that the latter stole trade secrets to construct its own microblogging site. Legal professionals claim that twitter would have major obstacles in bringing such a lawsuit, nevertheless.

Twitter allegedly accused Meta in a letter it delivered on wednesday of exploiting its trade secrets when creating its newest social media platform, Threads. twitter instructed Meta to stop utilising the secret information in the letter.
