Police Constable Viral Letter: The leave application of a constable of UP police has gone viral. The soldier has written that his wife is angry and is not picking up the phone.


There is a famous song that 'Teri Do Takiya Di Naukri Mein Mera Lakhon Ka Sawan Jaye'. This song picturized by Manoj Kumar may have become very old but its expressions are fresh every day. Newly married, in winter season and husband has to go on duty every day. Troubled by a similar problem, a constable of the UP police has written an application seeking leave. The constable says that his new wife has become angry due to not getting leave and is disconnecting the phone again and again. The constable wrote a letter to his senior officer seeking leave and explained his problems. The problem is so interesting that now this letter has gone viral on social media.

A constable posted in Maharajganj district, which data-borders Nepal, has asked for a week's leave from january 10. The constable has told in his letter that he got married only a month back. Since then the duty is going on continuously. His wife is angry because of not getting leave. The displeasure is so much that she does not pick up the phone, disconnects it again and again, or if she picks it up, she hands over the phone to her mother-in-law.


This constable posted in Maharajganj is a resident of the Mau district. Presently, he is posted in PRB working on the Indo-Nepal data-border. Additional SP Atish Kumar Singh has told that while granting leave, it has to be kept in mind that the peace system should not be disrupted due to the leave. The constable concerned has been given 5 days' leave.
