Momma Shriya Saran Raises the Heat - 15 Hot Photos

SIBY JEYYA
Have we not all sang along to Julie Andrews' renditions of "Do re mi" and "My favourite things" while seeing the timeless film "The Sound of Music" (1965)? We include Shriya Saran, a devoted supporter of the musical, in that group. Because of this, her 2023 summer release, "Music School," transported her to her younger years. The Papa Rao Biyyala-directed project makes an unusual choice by including three timeless songs from "The Sound of Music":

"Do re mi," "Sixteen Going on Seventeen," and "My Favorite Things." The london Philharmonic Orchestra arranged the songs for the project before filming began in goa in 2021. It's a dream come true for Saran, who portrays a music teacher in the drama that also stars Sharman Joshi, to revisit the hollywood classic through its well-known melodies. It was the very first movie I ever saw. I repeatedly watched it on the VCR when I was very small, she remembers.

"The director [Biyyala] presented the script to "The Sound of Music" creators. They approved and granted permission to utilise the tunes. Since the movie's premiere, none of its songs have ever been heard in another one. Therefore, it is a joy to incorporate them in our movie 57 years after their premiere.
