The ap government provides 2.61 lakh volunteers from villages and wards with a monthly newspaper allowance of roughly Rs 5.22 crore. The government gives each volunteer Rs 200 to spend on newspapers. This also applies to the staff members of the ward and village secretariats. From december 22 to march 23, this will cost the public coffers Rs. 10.45 crore. The government has allocated funds for the next four months.
