In this private village for sex offenders, identical, luxurious houses have been built, according to a report by First Coast News. florida state law prohibits sex offenders from living within a thousand feet of a school, park, or playground. Even convicts in child molestation cases have settled in this village. Pat Powers, one of the immigrants here, is also a convicted sex offender. He was accused of having sex with students during sports practice. He was later convicted and served 12 years in prison.
