On september 16, National cinema Day will be commemorated in india in a unique way. All movie lovers in india will benefit from a significant price reduction on all films in honour of the country's first-ever National cinema Day. Yes, you heard correctly; for this single-day event, all movie theatres will charge a flat rate of Rs 75. The more intriguing aspect of this pricing is that it will apply to multiplexes across the country, including those operated by M2K, PVR, INOX, Cinepolis, Carnival, Asian, Wave, and others.
This one-day deal will be available in more than 4,000 theatres all over India. As a "thank you" to moviegoers, the theatre owners are commemorating the occasion to honour the successful reopening of theatres after COVID-19. Above all, this National cinema Day offers movie lovers a fantastic opportunity to watch new films like Brahmastra, starring ranbir kapoor and alia bhatt, for just Rs 75. On september 9, the film will be released, and prior to this one-day-only price reduction, tickets will still be available for purchase at the regular price. However, in addition to the Rs. 75 cost, BookMyShow is still required to charge extra internet costs and GST.
In a first, on the occasion, the National cinema Day, the Multiplex Association of india (MAI) has announced a bumper offer. In honour of National cinema Day, MAI is providing discounted movie tickets. On september 16, the cost of the movie tickets would just be Rs 75 (at some theatres).
