The stray dogs in this village are living the lives of millionaires. The people of this village are fond of stray dogs, especially their ancestors. It is said that more than 150 stray dogs in this village are fed and taken care of by the people of the area every day and not only that they also give sweets like laddu on special days.
It is said that the people of this village have set aside about 20 acres of land for stray dogs and the land is worth more than Rs 5 crore as per the current market value. The more than 700 Chaudhary communities of the area have a specific reason to care for the dogs in the area like their ancestors did, say residents.
It seems that before independence this area was under the rule of the Nawabs and those rulers gave some acres of land to the people for free. In this situation, the villagers have decided to allocate a portion of their land to stray dogs. Humans can live however they want, but thinking about how stray dogs will live, the people of that area have allocated 20 acres of land for stray dogs and are spending all the income from that land for the welfare of stray dogs.
 It is said that the people of this village have been following this tradition since then date irrespective of caste and religion.A resident of the area, Hitesh, said that a large area has been constructed to feed the stray dogs and special utensils have been purchased for feeding the dogs.
