One person's data-facebook post shocked everyone. In it, on a 500 rupee note of the Reserve bank, there was a photograph of Rama worshiped by Hindus instead of the image of mahatma Gandhi. So, let's explore whether this is true. One photo recently went viral on the internet. This picture was shared by a data-facebook user. In it, it was mentioned as a new 500 rupee note with a photograph of Lord Rama issued by the government of India.

The indian rupee notes have the image of mahatma gandhi printed on them. Instead the photo posted by the person concerned caused great controversy.

He said in the data-facebook post, "The photo of Sri Rama Chandra is printed on the 500 rupee note. But the truth of this is not known. If anyone knows about it, tell me. jai Sri Ram." That was mentioned.

What is the truth?

Following this we expanded our study. We first checked the list of banknotes of the Reserve bank to know the authenticity of the photo.

When I scanned the official website of the bank OF INDIA' target='_blank' title='reserve bank of india-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW">reserve bank of india (RBI), there was no announcement about the introduction of the new Rs 500 note with the ram image.

Also, in the FAQ section of the Reserve Bank's website, it is clearly stated that the 'Mahatma gandhi (New) Series' is the latest rupee note. It was also stated that Rs.500 and Rs.1,000 notes prior to 2016 would not be valid.

In addition, a photo of the original 500 rupee note now in circulation was obtained from the RBI site. We have given it here for your perusal as well.

Is it true Fake?

So, it is clear that the Rs 500 note with ram was forged using photo editing software. All in all, it is certain that there is no new Rs.500 note with the ram image. So, never trust fakes.
