The roadside space along the chennai OMR Road from Kasturibai nagar to Thiruvanmiyur railway station has been repaired and converted as a Public Utility Park. The Corporation of chennai is focusing on transforming numerous public spaces in chennai into recreational areas suitable for the general public as part of the Smart City project. As a result, the City of chennai has chosen to rehabilitate the spaces beneath the flying railway stations in the OMR, including Kasturibai nagar, Indiranagar, and Thiruvanmiyur, and make them accessible to the general public from today onwards and this is done under smart city scheme.
