A woman wrecked her automobile into a frozen river on the suburbs of Ottawa, Canada. That, unfortunately, is not why she is popular on social networks. The unknown lady was photographed taking selfies on the rooftop of her drowning yellow automobile in the Rideau River. While she was doing this, individuals in the area rushed to her aid. Her casual demeanour has enraged social media users. On sunday evening, the accident happened in the Manotick area.
A popular footage captures the lady standing on top of the collapsing automobile while strangers race to help her with a kayak. According to the Daily Mail, she was the only passenger in the car when police arrived at 4:30 p.m. Though driving on frozen water isn't unlawful in and of itself, the woman in question was charged with the offence of reckless operating a vehicle.
While some on social media commended the rescuers for their prompt assistance, others chastised the woman for appearing unconcerned about the seriousness of the tragedy. "She purposefully drove on the river, endangering herself and others," one user said. “Astonishingly. This individual should pay for the emergency responders needed for this call, as well as any ecological charges incurred as a result of the car (gas, oil, etc.) being submerged in water, vehicle removal, and any insurance coverage gaps. Another remark said, "Including refund for the automobile (sic)."
