WhatsApp has once again banned the accounts, taking swift action under the indian IT rules. After the implementation of new IT rules in the country, social media companies are continuously taking action on the accounts of anti-social elements and rumor mongers. whatsapp had banned more than 17.5 lakh indian accounts, but the question is why did it do so.

 

Regarding the action taken in relation to India, the company said that the whatsapp accounts of 17,59,000 indians were closed. The main reason for this is that whatsapp is adopting strictness with its end-to-end encryption. Apart from this, it is also identifying anti-social elements through artificial intelligence and they are banning them if the application is used incorrectly.

The spokesperson of whatsapp has himself told about the action on the accounts of such a large number of indians that more than 95 percent of the restrictions are being taken due to unauthorized use of automatic or bulk messaging (spam). At the same time, they are banning the accounts of those who harass people through viral photos or videos. After the implementation of new IT rules in the country, social media companies are continuously taking action on the accounts of anti-social elements and rumor mongers.
