A district administration chief in madhya pradesh has issued a bizarre order following a delay in resolving pending public complaints on the Chief Minister's helpline. Usually, people will petition the head of the district administration regarding any problems that may arise in their area. Such petitions will sometimes be dealt with expeditiously. But, many times it will be like a stone thrown into a well. Ordinary people have to walk to the collector's office several times to solve problems.

In this case, an interesting event has taken place in Madhya Pradesh. That is, the collector himself withheld his salary because he could not solve the problems of the people. The jabalpur district collector of madhya pradesh, angered by the delay in resolving a large number of pending complaints on the Chief Minister's helpline, has ordered the suspension of his salary for december and the salaries of some officers.

In a press release that was issued last Monday, district collector Karamveer Sharma ordered to withhold his salary and the salaries of some officers. That is, the district collector has ordered the suspension of the salaries of those officers who have not taken action to resolve the grievances for more than 100 days.An official said that During a meeting which was held at the district panchayat office last Monday, the collector issued these orders while examining the pending complaints in the Chief Minister's helpline department-wise. The collector advised the officers to act vigilantly and take prompt action on the complaints.

The collector had advised withholding the salaries of the Deputy Municipal Commissioners for their negligence in dealing with matters relating to cleanliness and helpline. Similarly, the collector advised some tax collectors for negligence in revenue cases and to suspend the invoices of the project enforcement officers who had been slow to implement various schemes. Further, notice was sent to the district Marketing Officer not to attend the meeting.
