The elderly couple gets their help from their granddaughter Jonita and she helps them with the trends and the hashtags. While their instagram page was started by Jonita for her grandfather Yashpal Singh Verma’s talents, his wife Shanta Verma has joined in too. Regarding these videos on instagram, Jonita said, " started the instagram page in april 2020 for my grandfather and had named it 'Gangsta Grandpa', to showcase his wit to the world.
My grandmother helped choreograph my grandfather's routine and that was all the cue I needed. I got her in front of the camera as well and she was a total charm. Soon this gave birth to the Mr. and Mrs. Verma page and immediately there was a huge fan following."
