Cricketers were Haunted by Ghosts at Lumley Castle Hotel

Ghosts are always a debatable topic and some of them say Ghosts do exist and some of them deny it. There are many stories revolving around the ghosts but here are some of them linked to Cricketers when they stayed in Lumley Castle Hotel in England. bcci President and Former indian Captain Ganguly have been haunted by a ghost at the Lumley castle.


Ganguly in an interview said, "After practice, I had dinner with teammates and went to bed, but I heard tap water sound. When I went to turn off the water, the taps were already off. But after falling asleep I heard the tap water noise and I was really spooked. I ran out and went to Robin Singh's room and asked if I could stay in his room." 


Similarly, shane watson said it happened to him during the 2005 Ashes series. He felt something wrong in his room as he felt the presence of someone else in his room. After this incident, Frightened shane watson slept in Brett Lee’s room. Australia’s media manager even claimed that she saw a ghost in the hotel. Even indian captain ms dhoni said he spotted a mysterious shadow in his room at Langham Hotel.
