Meta is currently testing a new paid whatsapp subscription called “WhatsApp Plus”, designed to give users extra customization and convenience features on top of the free version.

👉 Important: whatsapp messaging, calls, and security remain free and unchanged. The subscription is only for extra features.

WhatsApp Plus is an optional paid plan (similar to Snapchat+ style subscriptions) that adds personalization and advanced chat management tools inside WhatsApp.

It is being tested in limited regions at around €2.49/month (~$3/month).
