Samsung One UI 6.1 Now Rolling Out With Galaxy AI Features For These Phones And Tablets

The advanced features of samsung One UI 6.1 Galaxy AI, will now become accessible to all users globally.

Samsung Electronics has expanded the availability of One UI 6.1 and Galaxy AI capabilities across a broad range of Galaxy smartphones and tablets. Originally debuted alongside the flagship Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy AI, known as the top-tier major update to the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 launched back in october 2023, now extends to the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable devices, and the Galaxy Tab S8 series of tablets.


The advanced features of samsung One UI 6.1 Galaxy AI, will now become accessible to all users globally.

This means that the power of Circle to search with google, Chat Assist, Interpreter, Live Translate, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Browsing Assist, Generative Edit, Edit Suggestion as well as an AI-Generated Wallpaper will be rolling out to Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 as well as the Galaxy S8 series of tabs.

Instant speech-to-text translation with Interpreter

Seamless voice and text translations during calls with Live Translate

Effortless multilingual messaging with Chat Assist

To recall, samsung recently revealed that the rollout of the One UI 6.1 update will commence across the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5 in the US starting march 28. Additionally, the samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series was also said to begin receiving the update. According to the handset maker, a majority of users were said to receive the update in April.


To recall, in early march, the South Korean tech giant initially announced the expansion of Galaxy AI features to more devices.


Meanwhile, following the deployment of an AI-focused software update, numerous users reported encountering touchscreen issues with their Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra models. Some users have even stated that their screens became entirely unresponsive to touch inputs after updating to One UI 6.1. samsung officially acknowledged this problem on wednesday (April 3) and offered a fix The South Korean company attributed the issue to compatibility conflicts with certain google app features.
