If you aren’t living under a rock, you must have heard of the huge uproar going on in the UK over a “manipulated” Mother’s Day photo of Kate Middleton doing the rounds. Now, Zuckerberg decided to have a go with his doctored photo.
He announced the rollout of Threads on a desktop with a photo of himself enjoying the app on a Windows PC.

How To Install Threads On Desktop
If you are using a Windows PC, simply head over to the microsoft Store, look up Threads, and click on the Install button.
Once downloaded, simply log in with your Threads ID or instagram account.
As of yet, Threads is yet to get a dedicated app on macOS. However, apple users can still access Threads via Web browsers.
Are Threads Different On Desktop And Mobile?
The simple answer is: No.If you have used Threads on Android or iOS, you will find almost no difference in the Web or even the desktop version. Everything from the process of posting Threads to discovering new posts and creators remains more or less the same.
And as mentioned earlier, that is not a bad thing. It’s always better to have an easy-to-use interdata-face that doesn’t differ much across platforms as users won’t data-face problems and would readily start using the apps without a hitch.
