Bharti Airtel's OneWeb shared the information that it has received the necessary permissions from IN-SPACe to launch Eutelsat OneWeb's commercial satellite broadband services in India. That means the company can start OneWeb commercial connectivity services as soon as the government gets permission for spectrum allocation.For those who do not know what IN-SPACe is, it is a government agency that is responsible for regulating space activities and granting permission to conduct space activities in the country. Bharti Airtel-owned OneWeb india is the first organization to receive this authorization. Let us tell you, that Eutelsat OneWeb, a Low Earth Orbit Operator, is part of the Eutelsat Group. The Eutelsat OneWeb constellation consists of 648 satellites and is expected to provide approximately 21Gbps throughput in India.
