A PAN card not linked with Aadhaar will be invalid...
Pan aadhar Linking: The Income Tax Department has informed us that the PAN card not linked with Aadhaar will be invalid by next march 31. The central government had already announced that Aadhaar should be linked with Permanent Account Number (PAN) for income tax payment. Accordingly, income taxpayers are linking their Aadhaar with their PAN number. Currently, the income tax department has fixed the deadline for this. Accordingly, the Income Tax Department has announced that Aadhaar should be linked with a PAN card by march 31 next year (2023).
A press release in this regard stated that all non-exempt PAN card holders under the Income Tax Act, 1961 should link their PAN card with their Aadhaar by march 31. It has been mentioned that non-Aadhaar-linked PAN cards will become inactive from april 1. And it said that it is a must, a must, don't delay, connect today.


What to do to connect?
For Aadhaar PAN Linking, first, go to www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in
Click on the Link Aadhaar button on that website.
PAN number, Aadhaar number, and Name (as per Aadhaar) should be registered on the website.
If Aadhaar contains only the year of birth and not the complete date of birth, then the relevant details should be ticked.
Check the details and tick the box approving to link Aadhaar
If you type the code characters found on the web and click on them, the attached details will be displayed.
How to check if PAN-Aadhaar is linked?
Go to www.pan.utiitsl.com/panaadhaarlink/forms/pan.html/panaadhaarPAN number, date of birth, and code characters should be typed into it
Finally, click on submit button, and you will get a link message.
