Twitter begins layoffs!!

Issuing a statement, the company has said that by 9 am on Friday, everyone will be informed about whether they have been fired or not by issuing a mail. Not only this, twitter issued an email on thursday saying, 'If you are in an office or going to office, please return home.' According to a report by Reuters, along with closing its office for a few days, the company will also stop the entry of employees so that there is no protest or uproar of any kind. Significantly, a recently released Bloomberg report claimed that Elon Musk has hired twitter Inc. to cut costs. A plan has been prepared to cut about 3,700 jobs.
All Badges Accessed Also Canceled
Due to this massive layoff, the company will also cancel all badge access held by its employees. It is believed that the purpose of taking this decision is to insure the safety of the employees as well as the twitter system and the data of the users.


The company will give information to everyone on the mail
The company issued a memo saying that twitter employees who will not be affected by the layoffs will be notified through their working email. At the same time, the employees who will be laid off will be informed about the next step on their personal email.

List of layoffs prepared on this basis
According to the reports, the company prepared the list of layoffs by seeing how much the employee contributed to the code of twitter while working in the company. This has been assessed jointly by both twitter managers and tesla personnel.
