The founder of this company, VS Pradeep, was given this idea by some of his friends in the cinema, and he decided to start a company that provides loans to OTT companies. It is noteworthy that the company is Better Invest and currently the company is operating with good profit.When giving loans to producers who produce films for OTT companies, an agreement is made that the money given by the OTT company for the film will be given directly to Better Invest.
Once the money given by the OTT company comes in hand, the company will take the loan amount and interest given to the producer and give the rest to the producer.
This is the new idea of this company.VS pradeep is the director and his friends Sethumanikandan and sriram are the co-directors of Better Invest, which currently has 20 employees. It is reported that films and web series have been produced for OTT companies worth Rs 3000 crore in 2020. VS pradeep said that their company has a good future as producers who shoot for OTT will need more money as it will increase in the future.
VS pradeep said that they are increasing their investment as they have to increase the lending to the producers who are making films for OTT and some cinema celebrities including actor Kathir have invested in their company.
Touted to be India's first start-up lending company to OTT filmmakers, the company is expected to grow exponentially in the next few years.
