Double fine from July 1..!? Do it now with Aadhar..!
We are seeing the central government insisting on linking various documents with the aadhar card. In this case, aadhar and Pancard should be linked, or else the penalty will be doubled from July 1. We see that the central government has made it compulsory to link the aadhar card with various documents as the aadhar card is an essential requirement for everyone in India.
The opportunity to link the Aadhaar card with the Pan card in that category ended on march 31 last. Following this, those who link the Pan card with the aadhar card after march 31 will be fined Rs. 500.
This opportunity also ends tomorrow, june 30th. It is to be noted that from July 1, persons who link the Pan card with the aadhar card will have to pay a double penalty i.e. a fine of Rs.1000.
It is therefore advisable for all people to attach the aadhar card with the Pan card within today or tomorrow to avoid a double penalty. It has been reported that if the PAN card is not linked to the aadhar card, the PAN card will become inactive and the person will not be able to use the PAN card in any of the state-owned banks.
