Google Photos will soon be available on iOS,
In october last year, google announced that the Locked Folders feature in google Photos would come to all Android smartphones. Let us tell you that the 'Locked Folders feature' in google Photos allows users to save their photos in a password-protected folder. With this feature, google Photos will not be visible in Grid, Memory, Search, or Albums. This feature will soon be available on iOS so that iOS users can also lock their photos from others. Let us tell you how you can start this set up on your phone and use it to hide your private photos.
By using these steps, you can take advantage of this facility First of all open google Photos. After that click on the Library section coming down. Now scroll down by clicking on the utility section. After this step tap on 'Locked Folder'. Now google Play will tell you how this feature works on your phone.
Click on the 'Set up' option at the bottom right. On clicking, you will get the option of Screen Lock Password or Fingerprint. Insert it carefully. After entering the password, you will come to the locked folder. After this, whenever you go to the locked folder, you will have to enter your password/fingerprint. Click on 'Move Items' to put the photo in the locked folder. After that click on add photo button and hide your photos as per your wish.
Apart from this, there are some apps on the google Play Store that do the same work as google Photos, but cyber experts suggest that you should use only authorized apps to maintain privacy. That's because google has recently removed many fraud apps from the Play Store.
