It has been reported that the number of users of amazon Prime video is higher in germany than the number of users of the Netflix site. The number of amazon Prime Video users in germany increased from 1.4 to 12.6 million last year.

 The survey says that Netflix's subscribers have only increased from 300,000 to 9.6 million. By 2022, these are expected to increase further, with amazon expected to have 13.8 million active subscribers in germany by the end of this year. Netflix, meanwhile, is said to have only 10 million subscribers.

Ampere analyst Janice Johnson says amazon Prime Video shows more German-language titles than the Netflix site.
