In fresh set photos from the second season of Loki, tom Hiddleston can be seen wearing a tuxedo. After years of dominating as one of the MCU's star characters, the god of Mischief gets his own programme, which will premiere in 2021 on Disney+. In 2023, Loki is expected to return for its sophomore season. Production on Loki season 2 has started, although Marvel Studios hasn't given it a set release date yet.

Hiddleston has been a part of the MCU from its inception, but it wasn't until Phase 4 that he received the attention he so richly deserves. The Loki series followed the god of Mischief as he struggled to come to terms with who he really was. He encountered other versions of himself throughout the story, including a female form named Sylvie (Sophia di Martino). Their entire journey culminated in a confrontation with He Who Remains (Jonathan Majors), a reincarnation of Kang the Conqueror and the architect of the TVA. The multiverse has collapsed by the end of Loki season 1, with multiple worlds colliding with one another. In the meantime, Kang sends the god of Mischief to a whole new timeline.
Filming for Loki's upcoming episodes has started, and Hiddleston can be seen returning to his role in a fresh batch of season 2 set photos (via @BRMarvelNews). But he's dressed formally in a tuxedo rather than his customary Loki garb. Photos of the show's location circulated online before the aforementioned batch of Loki season 2 set photos featuring Hiddleston surdata-faced.
