Loki Trending on Twitter for the Strangest Reason?
Tom Hiddleston, the star of Loki, was trending on twitter this week due to a sweater. The RADA-trained actor rose to international prominence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for his portrayal as Loki, Thor's adopted younger brother. Hiddleston initially played the god of mischief in 2011's Thor, and has since played him eight times in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, including playing Loki in Disney+'s animated series What If...? Even after the main timeline's Loki was dead, Hiddleston's Loki proved to be a popular favourite, prompting Marvel Studios to offer the character his own tv show.
Season 1 of Loki was well-received and much debated online. On march 2, the Royal television Academy will present a "Loki: Behind the Scenes" event, which Hiddleston, co-star Sophie Di Martinno (Sylvie), and director Kate Herron are all anticipated to attend.
