There is a huge fan base for all the reality shows that air on Vijay TV, just like there is a large fan base for watching movies. Many channels now telecast a variety of reality shows competitively. Mainly, the cooking reality show 'Cooku With Comali' has a huge fan base. This show is hosted by Rakshan and was conducted by both chefs venkatesh Bhatt and Dhamu.
Season 1 was kicked off in november 2019. The show participants were Vanitha Vijayakumar, Rekha, Uma Riyaz,  Priyanka Robo Shankar, Mohan Vaidya, ramya Pandian, Daadi Balaji, Gnanasambanthan also attended. Meanwhile, Pugazh, Shivaangi, Bakla, Manimegalai, tiger Thangathurai, Pappu, and  Saai shakti were presented as comalis. Chaos maker Vanitha vijayakumar had won the first part.

The second part was won by Kani, who is the sister of vijayalakshmi who acted in the 'Chennai 28' movie.Now, the shooting of the third season is currently under process. It has been reported that Santhosh Prathap is currently on the set of the Cook with the Comali show.

Actor Santhosh Prathap has acted in the movie Saarpatta Paramparai which is a collection of boxing backstory incidents that took place in North Chennai.

 It is safe to say that he lived longer than he did. He was praised for his realistic acting in the film.
