Rashmika's Tamil debut gets postponed to Christmas
Actor karthi has a mixed 2019 with 3 movies in varied genres namely Dev, Kaithi, and Thambi, of which only the action entertainer Kaithi Helmed by lokesh kanagaraj emerged successful grossing above 100 crores.
Karthi is now shooting for ace director Maniratnam's mega historical movie ponniyin selvan in thailand where he's said to be portraying the character Vandhiya Thevan, and he'll be romancing the ever-gorgeous trisha in the movie.
Prior to ponniyin selvan, karthi wrapped sultan, helmed by Remo fame Bakkiyaraj Kannan, and this movie is also the kollywood debut of tollywood and kannada actress rashmika mandanna and this movie was expected to be released in Summer. But now due to the unexpected deadly virus situation which prevails, the makers have now postponed the release to Christmas.
