Sanjana Sanghi condoles Sushant Singh Rajput's death

Reportedly Sushant Singh Rajput breathed his last at his Bandra residence in mumbai on the morning of june 14. The actor was suffering from depression for the past six months. The cause of death, as revealed in the postmortem report by Cooper Hospital, was asphyxiation due to hanging. Sushant’s last film ever will be dil Bechara. The film was slated to release on May 8 this year, but had to be put on hold due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

 

Meanwhile dil Bechara marks Sanjana Sanghi’s bollywood debut and is an official hindi adaptation of the novel Fault in Our Stars by john Green. The english film adaptation of the book has the same title. Mourning the demise of her co-star and dear friend, Sanjana shared an emotional video on Instagram. The video begins with Sanjana stating a line from the book, The Fault in Our Stars. She says, “You gave me a forever, in a limited number of days and for that. I’m forever grateful,” and then reveals that this was Sushant’s favorite line from the book. She then says that she is grateful to everybody who believed that Sushant is an artist beyond excellence and that she is thankful for all of their love and condolences.

 

"Manny (Sushant's character), I remember after every shoot schedule you would tell me that you want to see me go far and I have infinite potential," she adds. She further added, “In the middle of 16 hour long shoot days, you’d talk about how being and becoming Manny made you happy, and that being anybody but yourself made you happy. I was too ill equipped to understand the depth of what you meant. Amidst your journey, you somehow found a way and had a desire to yell out to me from the opposite side of set screaming “Rockstar, itni achi acting thodi na karte hain paagal!".
