Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav is just nine wickets away from joining an elite group of indian bowlers who have taken 200 or more wickets in One Day Internationals (ODIs).

  • As india begins its ODI series against New Zealand, kuldeep stands at 191 wickets in 117 ODIs with a bowling average of 26.29 and best figures of 6/25.
  • If he takes the nine wickets he needs, he will become the ninth indian bowler to reach the 200‑wicket milestone in ODIs — a mark only achieved by the country’s top performers.
The current list of indian bowlers with 200+ ODI wickets includes greats such as:

  • Anil Kumble
  • Javagal Srinath
  • Ajit Agarkar
  • Zaheer Khan
  • Harbhajan Singh
  • Kapil Dev
