Daschault, who won the world cup as a player, took over as coach of the French football team in July 2012 and led france to the world cup title in 2018 by defeating croatia in the final.


France reached the final of the 2022 world cup in qatar and suffered a historic title defeat to Argentina. The next FIFA World Cup is to be co-hosted by the United States, canada and Mexico. A total of 48 teams will participate in it. Of these, 16 teams will be from Europe.
