The problems of IPL teams related to this have been increasing, but now bcci has taken a strict stand. If now a player is bought in the IPL auction and he withdraws his name after that, then that player will be banned for 2 seasons. After this decision of bcci, it will be easy for IPL teams to make their better strategy.
Let us tell you that recently bcci and IPL Governing Council announced new rules before the mega auction. IPL teams will be able to retain 5 players before the mega auction. Apart from this, IPL teams will have a Right to Match card. Through which IPL teams will be able to add one of their players again in the auction. In this way, teams will have a chance to include their old 6 players back. At the same time, it is believed that the IPL mega auction can be organized in the month of November-December.
