Earlier in the match, San Francisco was put in to bat first after steve smith won the toss. Finn Allen and Jake Fraser-McGurk started shakily and lost their wickets not long after. SFU were in grave trouble as they found themselves 67-5 after 11 overs. However, Core Anderson and Hassan Khan stitched a good partnership to take their team out of trouble.
