The umpire's deduction of one run for the team in the first Test match against england has created a huge uproar. Even one run can always make a huge difference in international cricket. But in today's match, one run was given less. According to MCC Rule 19.8, both batsmen must have run past each other before the fielder fires the ball. Note that otherwise the run will not be awarded.
