BCCI Secretary Jay Shah had already expressed hope that the indian Premier League will get a window in the future tour plan of the ICC. According to media reports, a two-and-a-half-month window has been received for the IPL to be held next year. Apart from this, priority has also been given to domestic t20 leagues of other countries. IPL gets two and a half month's window

In the cycle from 2023 to 2027, two World Test Championships, ICC events, and many other series will also be played. However, every year from the last week of march to the first week of June, the indian cricket team will not play any international match. However, its formal announcement will be made at the annual meeting to be held in Birmingham on 25-26 July.


Let us tell you that there is also a provision to increase 10 matches every two years in the IPL. Meaning 74 matches will be played in 2023 instead of 60. Similarly, IPL of 84 matches will be played in 2025 and 94 matches in 2027. The ICC has also given a window for domestic t20 leagues to be held in Bangladesh, Australia, pakistan, and England.

Domestic leagues of other countries also have priority
