IPL for the first time in the 15th season of 2022, the bcci is expected to generate over Rs 1,000 crore in revenue through sponsorship. The 20-over cricket tournament has been going on since 2008. The 15th season of the tournament starts today in Mumbai. The bcci has raised more than Rs 1,000 crore through sponsorship of indian Premier League matches this season. The bcci has partnered with Tata to sponsor a new title this year. The deal was done. In addition, it has entered into agreements with 2 new sponsors. Accordingly, the IPL has announced new deals with Rupay and swiggy Instamart. The Executive Council recently issued a notice.
The deal will fetch between Rs 48 crore and Rs 50 crore a year. Profits can also be made through title sponsorship. For this, Tata will pay Rs 335 crore. This is less than the amount Vivo pays. In addition, the bcci is expected to generate 30 to 40 percent additional revenue. The contract is signed on the basis that Vivo will accept all the deficit amounts.

Vivo plans to pay Rs 996 crore to bcci for the next two seasons. However, Tata will provide Rs 670 crore during the period. Vivo will cover this shortfall. In addition, Vivo will pay a large sum of money to the bcci in the name of transfer fees. This amount will be more than Rs 600 crore.
