The US announces diplomatic boycott of China's Winter olympics The united states has said no action was taken against china for human rights abuses. 



Washington: The Winter olympics held in beijing next year (2022 beijing Winter Olympics) declare a diplomatic boycott America (United States). 



US President Joe Biden has said the move is in protest of China's human rights abuses. The diplomatic corps will be absent from the Games. But 

athletes will attend. china, meanwhile, has come under fire.


The beijing Winter olympics will be held in beijing from february 4 to 20 next year. Athletes will attend, but the united states will not send an official delegation to the olympics as part of a diplomatic boycott. 



The US diplomatic mission will not arrive in beijing either. Announcing the Biden administration's policy, press Secretary Jen Zaki said the boycott was intended to send a clear message of China's continued human rights abuses. 


Massacres and other human rights abuses against Muslim minorities continue in the western Chinese province of Jinjiang. 



The international community is concerned about the crackdown on democratic protests in hong kong and China's intervention in Tibet, taiwan and Taiwan. Both Democrats and Republicans support the Biden administration's decision. 


The white house reiterated that the team participating in the olympics will provide all support and security to the USA. But China's response is that the use of sports as a political weapon cannot be justified.
