Only Rahul Dravid has applied for the post of Head Coach?

Former indian cricketer rahul dravid has re-applied for the post of president of the National cricket Academy and so far he is the only candidate who has applied for the post and now bcci has extended the deadline. The National cricket Academy of the cricket Board of india has its headquarters located in Bangalore and it is headed by former indian batsman rahul Dravid. 



As ravi Shastri's tenure comes to and end, at the end of his two-year term, the bcci has asked for those who wish to apply for the post of head coach, and the deadline was set for august 15th. But it has been more than 4 days after the deadline and so far, none other than rahul dravid has applied for the post. 



The bcci has thus extended the deadline for submission of application to a few more days and they expect some more applicants for the head coach post and if they don't receive it, rahul dravid will be appointed as the new head coach of the indian cricket Team. With the t20 World Cup, ravi shastri has announced his retirement from the Head coach position of the indian cricket team. rahul dravid has applied for the post of President of the National cricket Academy as he is said to be likely to go for the post. Meanwhile, rahul dravid recently coached the indian 'A' team during the Sri Lankan tour and india bagged the ODI series and lost the T20I series.
