6 Days isolation completed for CSK Team in Dubai

Reportedly chennai Super Kings director K George john on friday revealed how team captain ms dhoni gave up his business class seat to him and himself travelled in economy to dubai where they will be based during the IPL 2020. George john messaged about the incident and even posted a short clip which shows dhoni sitting in an economy class seat, speaking with Vice-captain suresh raina and some of his other teammates.


Dhoni will be seen on the cricket field after more than year when the IPL begins in the United Arab Emirates from september 19. He announced his retirement from international cricket on august 15 but will continue to lead CSK in the IPL. dhoni, his team, and team officials from the franchise left for the United Arab Emirates last friday after finishing their six-day training camp in Chennai. It was during this training camp that dhoni announced his retirement. raina also followed suit as he stunned the cricket fraternity by bringing the curtains down on his career.


Players were in isolation for 6 days after they reached the UAE. All players, domestic and overseas, will have to undergo 5 tests before entering the bio secure bubble, the bcci had said in its Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document. Players and support staff will have to undergo tests every 5th day after entering the bio secure bubble. After two successful COVID-19 PCR tests, 24 hours apart, players will be allowed to fly to the UAE. Players will be put up in hotels and will be in quarantine during which they will give 3 more Covid-19 tests over 6 days.
