Tirupati temple reported a remarkable collection of
₹3 crore 72 lakh in a single day from devotees offering their
head tonsure and donations. On this day, a total of
20,247 devotees participated in the sacred ritual of offering their hair, a practice considered highly auspicious in Hindu tradition.Temple authorities stated that such offerings contribute significantly to the temple’s charitable activities, maintenance, and development projects. The head tonsuring ceremony, a centuries-old ritual, symbolizes
