An appeal has been made not to come to Jakhu temple in shimla wearing indecent clothes. According to the new rule, devotees will visit Lord Hanuman in decent clothes. Representatives of Taradevi, Sankat Mochan and Jakhu temple had reached the meeting of shimla Deputy Commissioner on Saturday. Jakhu temple Trust approved the decision to implement the dress code. Hoardings will be put up in the temple premises to ensure the mandatory dress code. Many important decisions were taken in the meeting of Jakhu temple Trust.
Now some part of the vermilion will be accepted for oil and offerings from the devotees. It was also decided to fill the priest posts of the temple. A proposal will be made and sent to the government. Let us tell you that from january 1 to august 30, 2024, a total offering of Rs 1 crore 99 lakh 47 thousand 571 has come in Jakhu temple. Till now, Rs 79 lakh 66 thousand 423 have been spent on development works. There is an amount of Rs 3 crore 55 lakh 53 thousand 75 in various accounts of the temple.
Decision to create website of three temples
It has also been decided to create website of Shri tara Devi Mata Mandir, Shri Sankat Mochan Mandir and Shri Hanuman Ji Mandir Jakhu of Shimla. All the three major temples do not have website. In such a situation, devotees are not able to get information about the temples on one platform. Information about the income-expenditure, developmental work, history, Bhandara booking and donation facility of the temple will be available on the website. The world famous Jakhu temple is situated at an altitude of about 8 thousand 48 feet in Shimla. Devotees from all over the country and abroad reach Jakhu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman for darshan.

It is believed that during the war between ram and Ravana in Treta Yuga, when Lakshmana fell unconscious due to Meghnath's arrow, Sukhsen Vaidya asked Lord ram to bring Sanjivani Booti. Lord ram chose his devoted devotee Hanuman for the task. On the orders of Lord Shri ram, Hanuman flew towards Dronagiri Mountain to bring Sanjivani Booti. While going towards the Himalayas, Lord Hanuman saw Rishi Yaksha chanting the name of Ram. Hanuman stopped and met Rishi Yaksha and rested. On his return, Lord Hanuman promised to meet Rishi Yaksha.
