temple Closed: Closed due to lunar eclipse..!?
Tirumala Srivari
temple was closed on
saturday night due to a partial lunar eclipse. The priests closed the doors of the Srivari
temple at 7.05 p.m. on Saturday. The
temple will be opened at 3.15 am on
sunday and the doors of the
temple will remain closed for about eight hours. The partial lunar eclipse will be complete between 1.05 a.m. and 2.22 a.m. on
sunday morning. After the eclipse, devotees are allowed to visit the
temple from 6 a.m. onwards after purification. Similarly, Tharigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Bhavan was closed at 6 pm on Saturday. Opens at 9 am on Sundays. Devotees will be given darshan from 7 a.m. onwards. Due to the eclipse, Sahasra Dipalankarana Seva on the 28th, Swami's darshan facilities for the disabled and elderly were canceled.

ap were closed to celebrate the partial lunar eclipse. The Vedic Committee of the
temple said that the Durga Malleswara Swamy
temple along with other upalayas on Indrakiladri will be closed at 6:30 pm on Saturday. He said that the doors of the
temple were closed after the panchaharati
service to the goddess in the evening. The
temple gates are opened at 3 a.m. on
sunday and after Snapanabhishekam, Nityalankarana, and Puja, devotees are allowed to visit the Goddess from 9 a.m. onwards. On this occasion, Suprabhata Seva, Vastra Seva, and Khadgamalarchana were canceled on Sunday. Officials said that Srichakrachana, Laksh kumkumarchana, Chandihoma, and Shanti
kalyan will be held as usual.
Due to the lunar eclipse, the
temple gates in
srisailam will be closed from 5 p.m. on
saturday to 5 a.m. on Sunday. Later, after
temple purification and special poojas, devotees will be allowed to have darshan from 7 a.m. onwards. Sarva darshan of Swami and Ammavar will be performed till 3:30 pm on
saturday and Garbalaya Arjita Abhishekam will be performed till 12:30 pm. On
saturday,
prasad distribution will be held from 10 am to noon, and the breakfast distribution has been stopped that evening, said Peddiraj, the temple's EO. Devotees are advised to observe.
