When individuals worship tools, swords, etc. in their homes or offices, it's known as Ayudha or Astra Puja. This year's Ayudha pooja is scheduled on Saturday, october 23, 2023, with a muhurat that runs from 2:47 PM to 3:31 PM.

In homes and workplaces around India, people celebrate Ayudha Puja, also known as Astra Puja. Nine is a lucky day for the navratri celebration, when Ayudha Puja is held. To honor the tools that one employs to support their way of life, a festival or ceremony is conducted. Hindu mythology states that by taking part in the Ayudha Puja, devotees ceremoniously purify their utensils with the blessings of the deity. In some parts of South India, the day is marked as Saraswati Puja, where students offer prayers and honor Goddess Saraswati for her immense intelligence.

The Ayudha Puja is scheduled on october 23, 2023, this year. Ayudha Puja or Astra Puja is the worship of weapons. During the navratri festival, it is celebrated on the ninth day. The weapons are then gathered for further use on the tenth day, which is also known as Vijaya Dashami. Even though it's a common religious practice in India, people who use weapons on a daily basis—like members of royal families, defense and security personnel, martial arts instructors, and Kalaripayattu practitioners—carefully perform this ritual.
